What is the goal of NextFuture?

To drive purpose, both personally and professionally, for people who want to get out of their comfort zones and see what's possible. Getting a real opportunity to reconnect with yourself and then others who share your level of intellectual curiosity, creates boundless energy that powers true relationships.

Why is it important to develop the skill of well-being and how does it relate to NextFuture?

Training our minds to be more present, more connected, more curious and motivated is being proven everyday in the neuroscience labs of Healthy Minds, a nonprofit affiliate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison that we partnered with in 2019. The reason this matters is that it is our minds that hold the keys to emotional, mental, physical and social well-being.

What is the best way to develop relationships with fellow members?

Participating, listening and engaging one another around interest-based events and activities you both attend and/or host. Practicing the Healthy Minds program that accompanies events will train your mind to better understand what "connection" really feels like and will thus drive more purpose into your life.

How many calendar events should I attend per month?

You'll want to attend events that you're most interested in but know the least about until you start having a better idea of what you might want to pursue as your "next gig", "side gig", etc. Or attend/host events to develop friendships and things to do together.

How do I meet fellow members out-of-state?

NextFuture-facilitated events are sponsored by our Enterprise Members and Partners on a quarterly basis in locations where members can elect to congregate for a 3-day excursion. Members can host their own gatherings by submitting an event date/time/destination via Member Calendar clicking on "Add New Event".
